I usually don't particularly enjoy being put on the spot. I guess no one does, really. But I'm not really the best at speaking publicly, unless I'm in a classroom. Even then I'm still a little bit nervous, but overall I feel a lot calmer.
Tuesdays I help out 8th graders with their english. Usually it's just working one on one with students, but today was a little bit different. The teacher asked me if I wanted to teach the lesson, and I couldn't exactly say no..... so the next thing you know I'm up front explaining the difference between "How much" and "How many".
(I had to think about that in english for a bit first, haha)
Even though it was a bit complicated to explain, I did it.
And I loved it.
So today, I'm praising God for giving me the ability to do things I never thought I would be doing.
I love it.
