I've been meaning to write for a while, but ... once again, time got away from me.
So.... to fill you all in on what I've been up to, here's a little overview :)
Our youth group had it's first lock in. It was awesome. The best one I've ever been to, honestly. (If you didn't watch the video I sent you... you should! :) ) I was incredibly blessed with that opportunity to worship with my church family all night. I love them.
I went to Argentina ...and came back. I had some problems renewing my tourist visa this time (I'll just tell you the short version) and I had to leave the country and re-enter. My dear friend Christine came with me, and I was grateful for the opportunity to share that trip with her. Plus...we ate MEXICAN FOOD! (While listening to Phil Collins... in Argentina... haha)
Winter has begun. And it is cold. I also accidentally slept with my window open the other night. That wasn't fun. But I have learned my lesson.
I've also gone to birthday parties, hung out with friends, loved on kids in Casa Esperanza, taught "head, shoulders, knees, and toes" to 60 kindergartners, eaten cake with my host mom at midnight, cracked jokes with my host dad, cut my hair, attempted to ride a bike that was way too big for me, enjoyed good fellowship with the people I work with in the schools, worshiped with my church family.... and have enjoyed every second of it.
I can't imagine not being here. So so blessed. Thank you Lord, for knowing our hearts. And your plan always being better than ours.
