And I am so ridiculously excited for her. Not because it's Africa. Not because they're doing overseas missions... but because her and her family are answering His call. His perfect plan for them. They're putting all of their trust in Him, and moving to a different country for 3 years.. because they love him that much.
We were talking today about when He calls you do to do something, you just get this peace. Even when it seems like everything you're doing just seems absolutely absurd- He gives you this peace. Even when other people around you may not understand exactly why you're doing it. but you know in your heart that this is exactly where He wants you in this moment. And it is so... wonderful. Really going out in faith and having the Lord with you every single step of the way. Whatever that calling may be.
I am so privileged to know her and her family. To get the chance to work alongside her. And I am so thankful for the conversations we've been able to share, and the ones we'll have in the next few months.
